Results || RuralCentral Cluster Athletics 2020
Sunshine greeted those who arrived at the Rotorua Stadium on Tuesday where 600 athletes from 24 schools competed at the Rural/Central Cluster Athletics Day.
Participants competed in a variety of sprint and long distant track events and the 4 traditional field events including shot put, discus, long jump and high jump. There were four age groups: 9, 10, 11 & 12+ year olds.
Congratulations to all those who took part we hope you had a fantastic experience.
A massive thanks to all those who made the day possible; Lake City Athletics Club members Pam, Dennis and Rob. School helpers who ran all the field events and assisted on the finish line. And the SBOP staff and amazing youth team who ran all the other aspects of the day including marshalling kids on the start and finish line, starter, results table, MC, first aid and providing a food stall.
